John Walsh, the chairman of the Massachusetts Democratic party, is recovering after suffering what appeared to be a mild heart attack, the party said today.
Walsh underwent a series of tests over the weekend and is resting comfortably today and doing fine, Stacey Monahan, the party’s executive director, said in a statement.
“Doctors at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth believe Walsh experienced a mild heart attack. He is expected to be back on the organizing and grassroots trail in a few days,” she said.
