Yes, you’ve probably seen the highlights of President Obama’s speech at this year’s Correspondents’ Dinner, but, the president gave the audience many more laughs than the one minute version shown on TV.

For the act has grown mighty cold. Yes, I know we need to laugh now and again. But this country is riding to hell in $4 a gallon cars, housing is a mess, jobs are not being created fast enough no matter what the statistics pretend to tell us, student debt is drowning young people and their families, billions and billions spent in Afghanistan has done little good at all……. So, lets yuck it up and raise millions more for TV ads for the campaign while the absence of intelligent conversation about our problems and how to solve them hovers over the landscape. Its a mess out there folks.
