A friend on a lunch break captured the above photo of today’s fire at a Lowell Housing Authority apartment complex at the Bishop Markham complex. The site of the fire faced the South Common and was in the vicinity of the South and Summer Street intersection. A large amount of emergency apparatus responded quickly and the fire was soon brought under control. It’s my understanding that no one was injured, thankfully.
