The city of Lowell will host a public review and comment session on the city’s draft master plan, “Sustainable Lowell 2025”, tonight at UMass Lowell’s Alumni Hall from 6 until 8 p.m. Alumni Hall is located at 84 University Avenue on the school’s North Campus. A second review and comment session will be held this Wednesday evening at the Lowell Senior Center, 276 Broadway Street, 6:00 – 8:00 PM.

The Master Plan is a critically important document which, if properly employed, provides a road map for all future development in and many operational and managerial decisions made by the city of Lowell for at least the next decade. Even if you don’t have any suggestions for the plan, you as a citizen of the city should at least know what is in it. Tonight and Wednesday provide excellent opportunities to learn more.
