Owner listed as:
PRINCE AVENUE ASSOCIATES LLC

I believe the principal is Elkin McCallum, and I doubt he would sell it at a firesale price.

Dick,

Wondering about this auction, coming up, as this is my old neighborhood.

http://jjmanning.com/brochures/11-1337%20Lowell,%20MA%20WEB%20BRO.pdf

Who owns this property? Will the property be sold, regardless of price?

Just wondering.

Hi Richard -
I am a teacher at LHS in the Freshman Academy. I am running The Compass Summer program for incoming 9th and 10th grade students. You had posted some of our students' photos a few months back from google earth. We are hoping to spread the word to parents and students about this exciting opportunity which is running at the Stocklosa school for the month of July. Info and signup sheets can be found on the LHS website. This summer we have a variety of offerings that are just plain fun opportunities. Hope you can help drum up some support.

Please let me know if you have an questions.
All the best,
Katie Keefe

Hello Richard,

My name is Rohit Sharma. I was referred to your site by Jerry Bisantz as someone that helps promote events and activities in Lowell. I am hosting a stand up comedy show in Lowell at the Old Court on Saturday, April 30th at 7:30 featuring up and coming comics from Boston. I have lived in Dracut since I was a 5. I went to UMass Lowell for my undergrad and love Lowell for what it has to offer. Please let me know if we can disucss this further.

Thank you,

We thought readers of the Richard Howe blog and friends would be interested in an upcoming meeting on Community Innovation in Lowell, to be held on Tuesday, April 26, from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in Coburn Hall, Room 205, on UMass/Lowell’s South Campus (corner of Broadway and Wilder).

Given the fiscal outlook in Lowell and beyond, innovative ideas will be more important than ever to help maintain our community quality of life. This event is designed to build upon the successful Innovative Cities conference held in the city last June, and to take some next steps toward making innovation a part of Lowell’s civic culture.

At the meeting we will both hear about innovative work that participants are engaging in, and talk about how we might move toward establishing Lowell as a model Innovation City.

All community members are welcome. Since space is limited, though, we would be grateful to receive an RSVP, which can be sent to Prof. Bill Berkowitz of the Psychology Department at Bill_Berkowitz@uml.edu.

Do you have a photo of the Lawrence Civil War Memorial Guard marching the Baltimore parade last weekend that I could use? I've been asked to write an article about it for MethuenLife magazine.

Thanks

Good afternoon Richard:

I work for a small affordable housing organization that just purchase the flat iron building on Westford Street in Lowell on Cupples Square. This building is going to be used for boys aging out of foster care that need safe and affordable housing while going to school. We're looking to name the community and would like some more information about Cupples Square and perhaps the building itself. Any information that you could provide to me by email would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
